MYSTERYouse has just posted a very useful tip for accessing Korean websites. Some of our people have encountered problems viewing foreign websites we have linked in our articles when they are accessing the internet not from home but for example from work. The trick here is to run the linked URL through Google Translator, which serves as a proxy and makes the office computer believe that you are viewing a legitimate Western website.

Crystaleca has pointed out that the NCWest patch notes for Freya are misleading. It is not true that the Rift Boss Anakazel levels Soul Crystals to target levels of 11~14. True is that the lvl 68 Anakazel has a chance to level a Soul Crystal to a target level of 11 and 12 for one random member of the last hit party, and the lvl 78 Anakazel levels a Soul Crystal to a target level of 13 and 14 for 0~9 random members of the last hit party. So, always make sure to bring the right Soul Crystals for the Boss you are taking on. The two Anakazels behave differently!

In an experiment the NCKorea Lineage 2 Laboratory has confirmed the rumor that Herb of Doubt increases the MP recovery rate by around 77% for mage classes and, as Keeks has pointed out, about 100% for warrior classes without Clear Mind and similar skills. In tests of his own, Laby found that this works only with Herb of Doubt but not with the Mystery Potion. So, always pick up your Herb of Doubt!

In High Five Part 2 the Wondrous Cubic System will be changed. When that update comes, it will be possible to exchange the so far quite useless Blue and Yellow Cubic Pieces for a one-time Wondrous Cubic that will maybe produce an EWS Cubic Piece, or a Refined Wondrous Cubic for One-Time Use, which produces a random Life Stone. So start collecting all those Blue and Yellow Cubic Pieces now!

Manwe used the opportunity the PTS offers and did a series of experiments to generate reliable data for the overenchanting success of mage weapons versus fighter weapons in Freya. By using up almost 500 weapons he could prove what many of us have suspected for a long time - with mage weapons the advertised success rate is reversed. You would expect to succeed with 67% and fail with 33% but what really happens is almost the exact opposite, you succeed with 40% and fail with 60%. This leads to the consequence that you need in a statistical worst-case scenario 271 fighter weapons to get one of them to +16, while even in a best case scenario you would need 32.229 mage weapons to get the same result. Do you still feel like overenchanting an Archangel Sword? Then study Manwe's article!
